Why we use jojoba oil

We use jojoba oil in our topical products. It's an incredible oil for skin, as it is nearly 98% similar to human skin's natural oil, sebum. Jojoba oil has the following benefits:

  • Mimics our skin's natural protection layer, sebum
  • Anti-bacterial (which aids with skin imperfections)
  • Non-Comedogenic (won't clog pores)
  • Soothing and hydrating

In addition, it's loaded with antioxidants and contains a high amount of naturally-occurring vitamin E.

Jojoba is a desert plant that is harvested from the United States' Southwest, Israel, Latin America, South Africa, and Australia. It is a sustainable, nontoxic, and eco-friendly option in choices.

Sun Exposure Warning

Please exercise caution with all natural oil-based lotions when bare skin is exposed to the sun, as it can worsen the sun's effects. Sun tanning oils tend to include natural oils to increase UV rays - so do not use this unless that is your goal! Wear sunscreen with an appropriate SPF outdoors when it is sunny, not natural oil-based lotions.
