A Brief History of Natural Relaxation

For centuries, chamomile, lavender, and vanilla have been cherished for their calming and sleep-promoting properties. Chamomile tea, has roots in ancient Egyptian, Roman, and Greek cultures, where it was used to ease anxiety, calm the nerves, and encourage restful sleep, while Lavender was widely used across the Roman Empire and medieval Europe in baths, pillows, and sachets to reduce stress and promote relaxation. Today, both chamomile and lavender remain staples in natural aromatherapy and herbal wellness routines, offering gentle, effective relief from the pressures of daily life.

Vanilla, with its warm and comforting aroma, has long been recognized for its ability to calm the mind and enhance feelings of well-being. Indigenous peoples of Central America first cultivated vanilla for culinary and ceremonial purposes, appreciating its soothing scent and taste. Over time, vanilla became a popular addition to perfumes, candles, and soap, often combined with calming botanicals like chamomile and lavender to create luxurious, restful blends.

Each bottle is 10mL of pure essential oil and/or premium fragrance oil.

FAQ

• How many drops should I use? Start with three to five in a standard diffuser and adjust to your room. It's quite concentrated!
• Can I put it in a humidifier? Yes. Check your manufacturer's guidance first, since not every humidifier is built for oils.
• Can I put it on my skin? No! This is a concentrated blend for diffusing. Use the fragrance roller for skin; it's the same scent in a skin-safe carrier oil.
• Can I use it in a reed diffuser? Yes, but it first must be cut with a carrier such as fractionated coconut oil so it soaks up the reeds properly.
• How is this different from the room spray? The diffuser oil scents a whole room over time; the spray is an instant, localized refresh for linens and air.
