An ethereal blend of floral and earthy notes, Cross of Brigid invites the first glimmers of Spring with a mix of lush heather, luxurious rose, cleansing narcissus, and earthy vetiver. The first release on the wheel of the year, Cross of Brigid celebrates Imbolc, the ancient feast day of Brigid herself.
All of our candles are hand-poured at our workshop using pure high quality 100% US-grown sustainable soy wax and lead-free eco-cotton wicks. Our fragrances never contain any parabens, pthalates, or acetones.
What Is Imbolc?
February 1st marks the Irish holiday Imbolc, the first day of spring in the ancient Gaelic calendar. It is an especially important day to us because it was the holiday celebrating Brigid, the Irish goddess of the dawn. Imbolc endures today as "Saint Brigid's Day", or Lá Fhéile Bríde in Irish, and in 2023, was made an official public holiday in Ireland.

Tips and Safety Warnings
CANDLE TIPS:
- Before first lighting any candle, make sure to trim the wick down to 1/4", and always trim the wick down again before relighting. We suggest wick trimmers for this purpose if candles are a constant in your life.
- The first time you light a candle, allow it to burn for at least one hour to allow the flame to form a wax pool across the entire top of the candle. This will help prevent tunneling over the course of the candle's life.
- While we always use 100% premium fragrance oils, they are still artificial recreations of scents and cannot be called all-natural. If you are interested in candles fragrances with all-natural additives, try our essential oils aromatherapy candles!
SAFETY WARNINGS:
- Always burn candles within sight.
- Never burn on or near flammable objects or drafts.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Stop using candle when less than 1/4" of wax remains.
- Container may be hot when and after candle is lit. Allow wax to cool completely before handling.
