Cross of Brigid

The first release on the wheel of the year, Cross of Brigid celebrates Imbolc, the ancient feast day of Brigid herself. An ethereal blend of floral and earthy notes, this scent invites the first glimmers of Spring with a mix of lush heather, luxurious rose, cleansing narcissus, and earthy vetiver.

What Is Imbolc?

The Irish holiday Imbolc takes place on February 1st or 2nd (varies by year), the first day of spring in the ancient Gaelic calendar. It is an especially important day for us because it was the holiday celebrating Brigid, the Irish goddess of the dawn. Imbolc endures today as "Saint Brigid's Day", or Lá Fhéile Bríde in Irish. In 2023, was made an official public holiday in Ireland.
